Jonathan: In using Facebook I try to use as much original material as I can, rather than rely on sharing – which has it’s place, but … well that’s another subject. I have shared some items, but looking again at a recent share I’m seeing things that raise my suspicions – whether it is genuine. Some videos seem on the face of it to be from real life, but look closely and carefully and there’s things that don;t make sense. Has the whole thing been staged just to get likes, shares and viewers – to try and go viral and thereby attract income from advertisers? I’ve decided to work back through my timeline and delete some of the shares that on closer inspection don’t really convince me, or in any event don’t say something really original or relevant. Perhaps we should all question a bit more before we share?
