Here we go, gathering nuts in …
Denise >
… January ? Hazelnut, Pistachio, Pecan : these cabled berets won’t keep a hungry squirrel fed through winter, but they would make a lovely warm nest lining!
The cabled pattern and the character of the yarn, together, give the beret an elasticity that makes for a close fit around the head. They are knitted with a luxurious yarn, containing baby cashmere, silk, superfine merino wool.
The shaping, the pattern – with lacework, bobbles and tassle – and the luxurious yarn, together result in a beret that’s perfectly suited to women with long hair, whether curly or straight.
These beautiful, luxury berets cost £40 each (or 45.50 € ). To buy, contact us to check availability. You’ll be able to pay online – either with a card, or from your PayPal account. (Euro payments are by bank transfer)
The yarn is machine washable (30degC, delicates), but we recommend hand-wash in luke warm water, spin-dry at and lay out flat in a warm well-ventilated place.
These are wonderful hats you have knitted up, Denise! Have they sold well? Can you sell the pattern?
D > Thank you Sheila. I haven’t made these for a a few years, but when I did, they sold very well indeed. This pattern is just in the form of notes : one day J and I might get round to making it up into a pattern to sell.
Really striking design! And the colors are beautiful!
Those are beautiful!
D > I’m glad that you like them!
These are so cute!!
