Sìtheanan Gearraidh – Meadow Flowers
It’s mid-July, and the wild flowers of Uist are at their most abundant, colourful, diverse and glorious!
This 2-plied Light Aran yarn captures the light and colour of summer in Uist. I’m making six skeins of various weights – totalling more than 350g, so there’s sufficient available for much more than just one simple Beany hat!
This handspun yarn is available to buy at the Hebridean Woolshed’s shop here in the walled garden at Cille Bhrìghde, South Uist.
Ah, the Machair in bloom… Enjoy!
Wonderful colors!
