To Roll – or Not to Roll?
Denise >
Jonathan looks very snug, trying on one of the new neck-warmer designs I’ve been working on.
The first prototype (in red-browns) has rolled edges, as I thought that would be more comfortable ; however the second prototype was knitted so as to avoid the edge rolling, and although it looks – to me, at least – somewhat less comfy, J says that they’re much the same, as the yarns are exceptionally soft.
The yarns are 60% Extra-Fine Merino ; 25% Silk ; 7.5% each of Mohair and Cashmere. No expense spared!!
Both designs are 56 cm circumference ; 16 cm height.
The price £35, £40 delivered to UK addresses.
Although these won’t be listed in our online shop, you can order by email or phone, and pay online : contact us at mail@hebrideanwoolshed.scot or call us on 01878 700828.
Alternatively, you could call in at The Hebridean Woolshed here in South Uist, where (by the time it opens for the season, at Easter) you’ll find this and similar neck-warmers, and plenty more besides, in our shop within the walled garden.
