A gloriously sunny warm day (22°C official in-the-shade temperature !!!!! ) , and the garden at maximum growth! Time to pause and take in the panoramas
D > Thanks, Luffy. It may be mostly about feeding us (though also produce and food made from our produce is for sale at our garden shop), but it’s still work. And work that feeds, clothes and keeps the tax man happy is, well, a heck of a lot of work. But at least it is beautiful! Which is more than can be said for the factory I worked in before we moved here!
J > Who was it who wrote “All comparisons are odious!”? Don’t think about it, Danielle – don’t think about progress. Weather here is so harsh (doesn’t look it right now, I know!) that everything planted gets knocked back (and much of what we plant dies in its first winter, or its second) … but then suddenly, you look up and “Wow, when did that tree get so tall!”
I love it!
It looks like an oasis. What are the strappy plants either side of the path? They look like they’re doing well.
Phorium Tenax – New Zealand Flax
WOW! You have an estate there! It is drop dead Gorgeous!!!
Gorgeous! And so big. That’s one heck of a lot of work… but it looks beautiful

Looks gorgeous! Everything in our garden is still pretty small…
